Yep, you read that correctly. Homeless. You'd probably never guess it if you saw me at the store. I'm not at the freeway exit holding a sign. I don't stink...usually. I don't use public restrooms to shower. Our hair is combed. Well. Most of us, anyway. We have food to eat and a kitchen to cook in. We have beds to sleep in, but they are not ours. This last year and a half has been life changing, life altering, and the toughest time of my/our lives. I have grown in ways I never expected, and assume there is much more growing to be done. We have literally been living off a wing and a prayer. And here is where I'd like to document our journey up, where we soar, because if you ask me, there is just no other option.
